Doesn't producer Ed talk to other producers to know what's happening in the industry? Come on! Produce! Network! It's not good. This week, all we need to talk. We have a surprise snow day drop. Everyone enjoy lots of good recommendations. We talk Brooklyn backup, we talk Harry's new song, we talk Drops of God. Enjoy. This is when we rise to the occasion. Show people what we're getting. Alright, here we go. Honestly, this show could be two hours today because I've got so many things to say. We got nowhere to go. We should go live. Just put a big smiley face over you and just go live all day. She goes, We should just go live all day. All right, here we are. Snow day. Snow day. It is Sunday. It is a snow day. And I am drinking a Stoli and Club Soda because, Gen Z, you fucking people, Stoli is going out of business. No, I feel bad for them. That's what I drank when I was a kid. And I'm devastated because in my family, we are Stoli people. You gotta stock up. You gotta stock up. Yes, that is our vodka of choice. It's been my grandfather, my dad, everybody. So now I have to buy as much Stoli as I can. I did read an article saying it will last for a while, but eventually it won't. So we better shout out my friend Alyssa because she's a Stoli O. I've had Stolio a million times, but Stoli is my drink, vodka of choice. Those look like they're fancy glasses. Yeah, they're look how little that is. To me, that looks like a lot. But you have small, dainty hands, and the cup looks big. So I got duped, right? Because I thought these were so beautiful. It's perfect for an 8:30 Stolly cocktail, but not for 10 o'clock. No, but by 10 o'clock on this snow day, snow day with producer ad, I'm gonna need a much bigger glass. I don't know if I told you this, but Dylan has been talking about these Ralph Lauren glass play glasses. So guess guess what? Yeah, but guess what? I'm trying to get eight highballs and eight rocks glasses on eBay and pay under 50 bucks a glass. I'm almost done. I got eight highballs and I have seven rocks glasses. I just need one more. So they're all being sold from different people? Yes. Cool. And I've only first of all they haven't been produced since the 80s. But you have to make sure that there's an RL at the bottom in order for them to count. All of mine but one have an RL, but half of them have never been used and had the original sticker on them. I love that. Yeah. Well, we gotta have one fucking Gen Z are drinking. He's drinking. We gotta have one Gen Z are drinking. His girlfriend's not drinking, but he's drinking. Granted, he's drinking as some bougie Ralph Lauren glasses, but whatever it takes, whatever it takes to get them to drink. Exactly right. Exactly. Holy cow. I don't know what's gonna happen here. Hopefully, listeners, hopefully, you survive the apocalypse or whatever this is supposed to be. But I will say this all of those people, like that Vic Di Bendetto, or whatever that guy's name is, I love him, and that woman I listen to all the time. I always send it to Denise. She's like this Italian accent woman, and she's like, You need two pounds of rainbow cookies for two days. But but I will say this, it is true because we are a stupid people. Like you can't go anywhere. Oh my gosh, Rich had to go to four supermarkets. This is what I'm saying. All you want is some more water. Right. Like people, you're gonna make it. It's gonna be okay. I will say though, we are in a little bit of a crisis because we make our own dog food. We are done. We have the last one, I just fed the dogs, and Rich went to the supermarket to get everything we need to make the dog food while we're home and everything was cleaned out. Exactly. So our dogs are the ones who are gonna suffer. But you know what? They're not gonna suffer. Because you know what I'm gonna make them chicken and rice. So they're gonna make better food. It's just so crazy the way people react. They act like we're never gonna get out again. Never getting out again. It's just bonkers. But all right. I love a good snow day, but I want to just say, I don't know if I said this the last time. We're now on storm number five. No, you said it's the acorn, but it's also the farmers' almanac. The acorn theory has never let us down, people. I understand, but it's all Timmy would like to be on the podcast today. Well, Timmy, it's what you watching, Timmy, today. Timmy's watching. Timmy's Timmy's invested in the traders. Once a month, I get together with my sister-in-law, and last night was our family dinner night, and so we went to one of those conveyor belt sushi things, and then we went to the candlelight concert cold play. I'm going to my first candlelight concert in a couple weeks. I'm going to see Adele. Oh, I have to say, I'm not a classical music person at all. Yeah. That's just not my thing. No offense to classical music. I absolutely fucking loved it. Yeah. I want to see what happens, how they set up all the candles. Did you go in a cathedral? No. So in Fort Lee, where I grew up, they built the Barrymore Film Center and they built this amazing, I would say it's about a 200-seat venue. The sound is incredible. It's not as beautiful as a cathedral, so I definitely want to do one in a cathedral, but it was sold out. It was two violins, a viola, and a cello. Three of the performers were from Fort Lee, which was amazing. Yeah. They were amazing. Yeah, that's great. I love it. The only thing I wish, and I'm not a pot smoker, but if I was a pot smoker, I wish I was a little high. I feel like it would be really amazing if I was a little high. And also mine doesn't work that way. It was really good. And here's the thing is I love people. Okay. The the show started at 6 45. So awesome because I went to dinner at 5 15. Oh my gosh. Show at 6 45. Home for Alex Heinald's climb. I mean, it was a perfect night. Yeah, it's really good. But I will say, conveyor sushi, fine. I would never do it again. Yeah, I don't think I'd ever do it in general. But I wanted to see what it was like. It's cute. But it's just not upscale sushi. It's fast food sushi, you know? But the place was cute and it was literally right around the corner from where we were going. So I was like, oh, we'll try it. But I will say, I'm gonna go back to one of those candlelights. I'm gonna do it again. They're all over. This quartet's called the Highline Quartet. They said they do a hundred shows a year, but I can't imagine that they fly all over the world because they're everywhere, you know? So I bet they're regional. We were trying to figure out the math. But it was wonderful. They tell you the songs that they're gonna perform and they give you a little bit of information about the song. And then they tell you when you're allowed to record the song and when you're not. It was really lovely. Coldplay's a good choice, great choice. But I was fascinated because I felt like not that I expected young people to be there, it was a lot of old people. But then the guy was telling us Corvath was the lead violinist's last name. He was saying that Coldplay's first album is 30 years old. So it makes sense. I was just gonna tell you that. We're old. Yeah, I forget that I'm old. Yeah, no, you forget that you're old. But like sometimes you when the old people are in the audience, they act like really old people. Like there was a guy in front of us who was clearing his phlegm 20 times. Like an old person. I wouldn't do that. I had an incident last night. Where you had to clear your phlegm? No. Where an older couple got up and left because they were sitting at a table next to us. Oh, you guys were too offensive and loud. I guess I cursed once. And you what are you talking about? You cursed? I was, but in my defense, I was telling a story, so it was part of the story. So yeah, they got up and left and went to another section of the restaurant. I love that. Fucking embarrassing. I also saw this week The Outsiders speaking of old. The play? Yeah. Old meaning how old they felt because I remember watching The Outsiders and I loved it so much in the 80s. Actually, I think one of the first novels that we read in school. It's so good. As E. Hinton, who I was shocked to find out was a woman, right? Oh is it a musical? They made it into a musical. The play won Best Musical in 2024. Okay. And I really have no idea how it won Best Musical. It was good, it was entertaining, don't get me wrong. But it is not best musical. I don't know why they made it a musical. It doesn't feel musical-y to me. It was cute. You would never say to yourself, Oh, this is winning a Tony. Right. Yeah. Maybe it was just a bad year that year, so that's why it won. But I will say, like when you're saying about the time, I feel like I could stay out, I could do things like go to my local watering hall, go to games and all that stuff, and get home lead. I have no issue. But there's something about this is a two and a half hour performance that makes you be like, oh my God, really? No bueno for me, man. No bueno. I know. It's funny. It's like how your mind works. I like the 90 minutes, no intermission. They're talking about now making these adult clubs that start at six. Yeah, yeah, I mean. My sister-in-law is dying. She's going, I'll go. She keeps telling Ed we're going to this. They start at five. Uh yeah, I want to go to that. Yeah, yeah. And all different types of music. Yeah, I want to do it. There was an article in the Times the other day that getting a five or six o'clock reservation now is almost impossible because everybody's going early. Guess what? I invented the going early, people. I invented it. Who's the going early though? Probably Gen Z. They're tired. No, Gen X, I'm tired. I felt weird last night because we had an early reservation because we wanted to come home early. Kind of beat the stormish type of thing. And when it was 5 30 reservation, I'm like, where is everyone? But then by the time we were leaving, it was six o'clock is now the prime time for dinner. That seems early. Not to me, it isn't. I would go at 4 30, except for the fact that I hate Florida. I was made for the early birth special.
SPEAKER_01No way. Oh my God.
SPEAKER_00I was always an early girl. I feel like today we could just not talk any TV and talk all the craziness that's happening. I feel like we owe it to the people who are staying in today to talk some TV, but I'm open to going off format if you want. I hate when this happens. I hate when we shut down the podcast and then it's breaking news. So we shut down the podcast. I'm all in for Brooklyn Beckham. I'm all in. I am obsessed with it. Me too. I wonder what made him to finally decide, you know what? I'm done with this bullshit. I'm gonna tell the truth. I'm going on social media. You know why he can say fuck you? Because the family he married into is wealthier than his family. So he's that's why he can say fuck you. So you're Team Brooklyn. I'm Team Brooklyn. Really? Yeah, I am. I think I am. I mean, look, I loved the Beckhams. I loved the documentary, but I think he's telling the truth. I don't think he's lying. I mean, these people can't be serious. They got mother-in-law problems. Did anybody ever meet your mother or my father? Like everybody's got problems. Rich Karuba has had mother-in-law problems his whole life. It's all about them, always been all about them. What are you talking about? It's Victoria Beckham. Right, of course. But these are rich people problems. That poster's ridiculous. And you know what? I loved it. I kept thinking to myself, is he still on an allowance? But no, he probably cut him off. They said they cut him off. But because his wife has money, though. Of course, he doesn't care about the money. This is like Prince Harry all over again. Prince Harry needed some money. Nicola's parents are wealthier than the Beckhams. The Beckhams aren't billionaires, the Pelzes are. This is rich people problems, though. That post was ridiculous. I love that. You have to go on social media. What prompted him? Well, that's what I want to know. Now go on social media. There had to be a straw that broke the camel's back. I also really want to understand this whole thing that he wrote about where they were forcing him to sign away the rights to his own name. That was confusing to me. I was trying to understand why. And that was interesting. Thank God he has a good hot sauce because I really am enjoying his hot sauce. I actually have been, believe it or not, I've been tuning into some of his cooking videos. Whatever he's doing, but he's trying to become a big story about that stupid dance that they're talking about. Well, listen, a lot of people said that the dance was inappropriate. I know, but she's the mother and she's Victoria. She's spice. Okay, here's the thing about the dance. As the mother of a son, I want my dance with my child, but of course, he's gonna dance with his wife first. Yeah, okay. They were supposed to have their dance, and the way he wrote it was, I was supposed to be dancing with my wife, and my mom took over the dance. I know, but is all of this enough to never talk to your parents? This is probably way too much information for this podcast, but I was, or I guess I still am, although my dad died, but I didn't speak to my dad for 25 years, and it's a regret. It was a mistake, it should have never gone that way. This is simple. And I tell everybody who gets in a fight with their parents now or is estranged, don't freaking keep it going because you're gonna regret it. Work it out. You don't have to see each other every day, you don't have to talk to each other every day. He better hope to work it out. He better hope this relationship with his wife. He has to hold on now. Yeah, now he's gotta hold on. Yeah, his hot sauce isn't that good. No, yeah, no, but his YouTube videos are actually not bad. I actually never saw his YouTube videos, not bad. Because now I'm fucking watching that stupid ass's YouTube videos. Drake May's wife. Oh, I'm obsessed with that, Michael May. Obsessed with her. And you know what I love about her? She's five years old, she's so young, and she's like so far, she doesn't have the big house, she doesn't have the fancy kitchen, she's not making fancy shit, she's just making like cookies with MMs in them. She's packing her own stuff, shoving it in. I'm like, she's just a regular girl. It's so ridiculous. She's no Giselle. Wearing, I wearing I love Drake made these dirt. She's so cute, it's so stupid. Even when she's with Portnoy or not, like some of the Patriots to be in her videos and stuff. I'm like, she's just like in a regular kitchen. I know.
unknownI love it.
SPEAKER_00So we had the Brooklyn situation, yeah. And then we had the summer house divorce. Well, I don't know much about it, but I do know what's going on. Yes, and I'm also obsessed with that because no prenup. So that's so good. I love no prenup. And I think there's a lot of debt in the lover boy business that they have. I'm just hoping that it plays out on TV because if you remember, not so much on the summer house, but they're doing like a spin-off in New York City with some of the OGs of the summer house, and they're on it. So I'm hoping it kind of plays in real time. The biggest news of the week isn't that. The biggest news of the week is Blake Lively's and Taylor's texts. And these texts are fantastic. I feel bad for Taylor. I feel that texts between you and your BFF, those can't be exposed. If you recall, Taylor was subpoenaed, and her team said yeah, no, and then she agreed to just hand them over. It's really not a good look for Blake at all. I'm so confused. Like, so is Blake texting, knowing that this is evidence? I don't understand. No, no. All of those texts were real-time texts, just regular, real-time texts between two best friends. Yeah, but I mean, look, it's not just her and Taylor. You got the ones she sent to Ben and Matt. Oh my god, lame. All of these texts are just insane. Look, Justin Baldoni's texts aren't regular texts either. Everybody's texts are insane. What was Taylor saying back? Well, the entire thing where Justin was at the apartment, yeah, the way that it was originally discussed was Taylor shows up. But it was all state. Well, I guess Taylor was coming anyway, but Blake told her what she wanted her to do when she came, and Taylor did it. What I don't understand is how good of friends were they? Like it's hard to figure out in the timeline of friendship. They weren't friends their whole life. But I mean, she's godmother of four or three or whatever. And they were children and the kids are in the songs and everything. Yeah. So I understand that they were obviously close, but you see when Taylor pulls back and kind of distances herself. And then supposedly now they're saying that Travis was the one who said to Taylor, you need to face this head on and say something to Blake about how she's treating you. And she did. Yeah, and so now they're friends again? I don't know if they're real friends again. Like if I'm Taylor, do I ever trust Blake again? I don't. First of all, I'd be fucked if any of my texts ever got leaked. It's back to the group chat all over again. Not that I'm a bad person, but I don't want anybody seeing my phone. No, ever. Wait, I have a question for you. Would you have any issue if producer had said, Let me see your phone? No. I wouldn't. But I mean, why would it? I leave my phone all over the place. I don't care. But I definitely don't like the idea of someone going through my phone. No, of course not. It's definitely a violation. That's like someone in the olden days opening up your mail. Yeah, no. It's not good. Everything like that you hold private and deer. No. Yeah. That's very unfortunate. You know, Blake's fucked up. We went over this. Yeah. And now so many people are coming out of the woodwork from even gossip girl days, talking about her being a diva, her being demanding. You know, she doesn't speak to almost anybody from that show. Again, we love Ryan, so I don't know what to say. I know. Well, look, Ryan has Blake, and Brooklyn has Nicola. You pick who you pick. And then the other thing that was all over social media this week is the Colton situation from the Traders. Well, now also you sent me that Ron's being bullied online and that now Ron is autistic, which I didn't think he was autistic. I didn't understand what that was all about. Well, traders sent out a statement about bullying, but I have a feeling it's not just about Ron, it's also about people attacking Colton on social media. Because at the end of the day, I don't know if if our listeners know this about Colton, but first of all, I hope our listeners are watching the Traders. And if you're not watching The Traders, today is a snow day. Watch it. Yeah, sorry. But Colton was on the Bachelor and he got engaged to girl Cassie. And then they broke up. Eventually, he says he's gay, he's now married, he has two kids. All good. So you think but his breakup with Cassie was very bad. And I knew about it, but not as much. I forgot about it. It's like pre-COVID, it's a long time ago. But he stalked her when the breakup was over. So much so that he put a tracking device in her car and all of these things. And she came public with all of it. And the universe knows, especially the bachelor universe, knows that he is not a good person. But the trader, and I'm not sure why they casted him, but the traders are giving him what they're calling like the Efron edit. Because, you know, of course, we love the Efron. It's not. And so everybody on social media is attacking that part. So much so that Lisa Ridda went on social media, who's also on the traders, and said, you know, we all know he's a stalker. It's kind of getting juicy. But I mean, people change people growing up. We give him a second chance. Did you see what he's doing though? He's bizarre. He's so aggressive. Yes, he's so aggressive. I think he's actually playing very smart. I think he's playing a smart game. If I was a fucking stalker and I had all these don't bring up my stalking past agreements with everybody, why would I be so fucking aggressive? I think he's playing a good game. I don't think he's playing a good game. And his attack on Lisa was in the game. But he's right. She is a traitor. So it's interesting to see kind of what happens, but social media's been nuts. For some reason, I don't know why I'm not getting traders' content on my social media, which is pissing me off. Because I love the traders. Hardly anything. You didn't get the funny one of the chef who can't butter a piece of bread. No. And they put that all over. What kind of chef is this? No, but speaking of buttering bread, I am getting this content from this girl who makes cookies with buttered toast in it. What? Yeah, she takes butt she takes buttered toast, crunches it up, and puts it in her cookie dough. I'm gonna make that. That's the kind of stuff that's in my algorithm. Oh my god. Buttered toast cookies. Oh my god. Juicy episode. So juicy. And now we'll see what happens. They kind of left us on a little bit of a cliff. So there's gonna be a murder in plain sight with an amulet. And I heard that there's a fight going on. I hope so. And I also read on social media that Dorinda's full on nasty to people. She's a nasty person. Yeah, like Ron being one of those. So I wonder like maybe Donna Kelsey's thing. That's what I mean. Like, because she was friends with Ron. Donna. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I wonder if there was some truth in that. I'm sure. Maybe not directed towards Donna, but kind of directed towards Ron. Yeah. Either way, you guys, you need to watch the traders. This is all damn good. I know. We keep saying perfect snow day material, actually. Oh yeah, perfect snow day material. Totally. All right, what else? Like, but also perfect snow day material before we get regular shows. We said last week that Netflix is putting out some hallmarks. Do we know why they're doing that? I I don't, but I'm actually kind of grateful that they are because I'm enjoying what I've been watching so me too. So I watched um Sisterhood Inc., I watched that one. I just finished watching The Royal Wii. I have that on the list. I'm gonna watch that one. Very cute to be nestled with a little hot chocolate and watch the Hallmark on Netflix. And it's so much easier on Netflix to see a whole you know, you have to search for Hallmark. It's very nice. Yeah. So those are two snow day activities for everybody. You know, I'm a hot chocolate person. I'm not. Dylan went to this place in Beacon called, I think it's called the Hudson Valley Marshmallow Company. And they hand make their marshmallows in all these flavors, and they also sell this hot chocolate mix. Honestly, of all the mixes, amazing. But now a stay puff marshmallow, disgusting to me. And those were my staple. Now I need these Hudson Valley marshmallows. They're freaking phenomenal. That's amazing. I am not a hot chocolate person. Well, I can't drink milk, so I have to find hot chocolate that you can drink that's tasty with water. This shit's so good, but it's really these marshmallows. Oh my god. Hudson Valley marshmallow people. I don't know how you figured that shit out, but damn good. On a day like today, I'll just like drink a hot toddy. Yeah, no, I'm gonna have tea, hot alcohol. Okay, speaking of alcohol, I think we need to start with the heavily anticipated season two of Drops of God. Okay, so let's just take everybody back. If Stolly wasn't going out of business, I'd have a glass of red wine today. Of course. Well, two years ago, we put Drops of God in our top five. Drops of God is on Apple TV, Apple TV Plus, whatever the hell it's called, Apple Plus now. I don't know. Jen Mateo, let me know. And it is the story of this guy is like the premier wine guy in the world. He puts out like the Zagats of wine. He has the biggest collection of wine. He's the wine guy. He dies. There's a contest between his daughter, who is estranged from, but has a gift, and his best student. That's all I'm gonna say. Whoever wins the wine contest, that is, gets everything. They get the estate, they get the wine, they get the accolades, they get it all. So that happens. The winner is declared, and then this picks up after, where the lawyer comes to the two contestants and says, There's another step that the guy wants you to do. He has this wine that he considers the perfect bottle of wine. There's no label on it, and they have to figure out where this bottle of wine comes from. I was very nervous about season two. I never expected Drops of God to need a season two or want a season two, but I'm in. No, I'm in. Of course I'm in. I don't know how it's gonna be. It's only been one episode, it's gonna drop weekly. And when that show ended, we said perfection. Perfection. It was in our top five. We told everybody to watch it. And as I still tell people all the time. And as the years went on, I get people that tell me, like, oh my god, drops of God was amazing. But I did not think it needed a season two. I think it ended perfectly. Perfect. I'm glad it's back. I don't care what kind of if it's a slump, not a slump, because I don't think it's ever gonna be renewed again. I no, there's this will be it. This has to be it. Yeah, so great. Bring it on, bring it on. And again, people, great binge today in this snowy day. Go watch season one of Drops of God if you have not watched it. It is phenomenal. To me, it was perfect from episode one to I think it was eight episodes, right? I think so. I'm not sure how many this season's gonna have. I didn't even look it up, but all right, so the first episode came out. I really, really think you guys should be watching this show. All right, so Drops of God, also another perfect show to watch today. Excellent idea. If you are in the house and don't like football, so yeah, but football doesn't start till three. So everybody who's not shoveling or snowblowing or plowing or whatever, get cozy on the couch and get started. That is true. What else we got? We had the landman season finale, great finale. I've said a thousand times on this podcast that this season of Landman was unbelievable, and that finale was everything I needed in a finale. I laughed, I cried, I did all the things, and it was just perfect. It's renewed for season three, and another great binge. People watch season one, watch season two, fantastic. You got Billy Bub, you got Ali Larder, you got this Michelle, whatever her last name is. What's her last name? Michelle. She's stunning. But the beauty, it's all about the writing. Taylor Sheridan's writing is freaking amazing. The lines in this show are just unbelievable. Story great, Demi Moore great, all good. Watch this show, people. That line in the finale about the group tax. So it's like laughing. Everything we say somehow comes out that week, right? We talk about We're like the Simpsons. We talk about group tax. They bring in the jobs. It's about car sacks. We talk about car sacks and fucking tell me lies as car sacks. You know how the Simpsons predicts everything? We're like that. The Simpsons did predict that the Rams were gonna play the Broncos in the Super Bowl and they put the score up. And then Oz the mentalist. Do you see his videos? Wait, the Simpsons predicted that the Rams are gonna play the Broncos? Yep. Oh, I hope the Bron, I hope the Bronco part is right. And so did Oz the Mentalist. Sorry, May, but I hope the Bronco part is right. Isn't that crazy? Okay, so should we say a prediction and see if it comes true? About the suit about the game? Who's gonna play in the Super Bowl? Do you think it's gonna be? I think it's gonna be I think it's gonna be my worst nightmare. I think it's gonna be New England against the Rams. That would be horrible. Although I would like it because of Anna Michael May. Robert Kraft last night was at the UFC in Vegas. He'll be at the game today in Denver. He's a busy guy for an 82-year-old. Is he like 82 years old? He is staying young with his little hottie. I know. Good for him. Yeah, good for him. All right. So we mentioned car sex and tell me lies. It was young car sex, though. That's so it's well, this was age appropriate car sex. Age appropriate car sex. Age appropriate car sex. And this tell me lies friend group. Listeners, if these are your friends, get the fuck out. Get out get out of the group check, get out of the friendship, get out of everything. This group of people is horrible. Unreal. They are horrible. Right. But another good show to binge during the snowstorm. But now we know what she meant when she said she's a bad person because obviously something went down with her and Wrigley. But now, of course, Steven's gonna know about it and he just doesn't stop. He's truly a psychopath, I think, right? A sociopath or a psychopath. I never get that right. What is wrong with him? He's on he's wired poorly. When something's wrong in his wiring, of course, it's so easy for him to pick up Wrigley's phone. And we just talked about the phone, like it's not locked or anything. No, of course. So now we'll see. Thank God that that show drops weekly because it really gives me a lot of anxiety. Such anxiety. You can't that's the one thing I would say is like if you're gonna binge tell me lies, give yourself breathers in between because you need a Zanic. Today's not the day for that. Today is actually a relaxing day. That's why I'm not watching that guy from the building. I watched it live last night after I got back from my nice early candlelight cold play. This Alex Hannold, I watched him climb El Capitan in free solo. That was a movie. This was live climbing this Taipei tower, and no net, no harness, no rope, just his hands and his feet. That's it. Why would anyone do this? He's this guy, like this is what drives him. His wife's there. This, but this was crazy because as he was climbing the building, there are people in the building looking out the window as he's climbing in front of them. It's crazy. It was so nerve-wracking. And even when he gets to like what I would call a safe spot, he's standing at the top of the building on these areas that he could take a break. And like it's nothing where you and I would be even freaking out, just standing. You and I. I'm not even watching it, let alone talking about how I would. First of all, I loved watching the whole thing, but I loved the fact that as I'm checking my phone, Kim Kardashian's watching live. Yeah, yeah, I saw that. The Kardashians. I'm like, look, me and the Kardashians have something in common. We're watching at the same time. Everyone's watching. I love that. Everyone's watching. It's fucking crazy. No, not watching that. I thought I'd ever say me and the Kardashians were doing something together. I'll tell you what you're not doing. Kim Kardashian was also watching Beauty because her boy Ryan Murphy put it out. Bella Hadid, I do love you, but I'm not watching a horror. It's not happening. I the way they build it, I didn't think it was horror. And then I think I made it through the first episode, but I will never watch it again. That is not for me. Hated it. Okay, horror people go for it, but that's not me. Yeah, no, Ryan's nuts. He's just nuts. Yeah, the idea is that you can take this injection that will make you beautiful, but there's problems with the injection. I didn't even watch it because I saw the preview and then I saw the thing that said horror. I didn't even see that it said horror. All I cared about, really, was that there was a really good cast and Ashton Kutcher was back. Yes, I know. Agree, agree. Really good cast, really good cast, but we're not doing it. I'm out. Sorry. So speaking of your cold play, isn't Chris Martin dating Sophie Turner? I think they broke up already. Oh, that was short. But Sophie Turner's in a show called Steel on Amazon Prime. I am on episode four, I think. And I'm enjoying this show. Are you not enjoying it? Giving me the look like I'm not enjoying it. No, I finished episode two. I'm enjoying it. It's only six episodes. Yeah, we'll finish. So I'll definitely finish. Do I think it's a great show? No, but I like her. I like, I mean, I like the show. Is it Musty TV? No. But I like the premise. Are you gonna tell people what it's about? So Sophie Turner works as like a person who processes trades for a financial company. It's in London. It's in London. She's at work. These people come in and they're wearing stuff that facial recognition can't figure out. And they force Sophie Turner and her co-workers. They really fucked up those people, don't they? They actually look like the people from The Beauty. I almost was like, I'm out watching this. Yeah, but it was really just a disguise. Anyway, they force them to transfer four billion dollars to an account, and that's the robbery, and it's gonna wipe out people's pension. The first episode is the robbery, and what happens after the robbery is the rest of the episodes. That's all I'll really say. It's suspenseful. I like Sophie Turner, even though I'm still mad at her because I think she broke Joe's heart. Joe Jonas at his but they're co-parenting very nicely. Yeah, they're friends, and the kids are doing just fine. Yeah. So is it the best show ever? No, it's enjoyable. I like ponies much better. Yeah, I do. I was just gonna say that. I think I like ponies better, also, although I hadn't had an opportunity to get very far because all the other stuff that was out this week. But I would say if you're wanting a good show to binge. I think ponies is better. Of all this genre that's out there, that's the best one right now. Hijack season two is terrible. Oh god, terrible. Take it horrible. That's I watched the second episode. I can't I don't know if I could do it. You know what happened? Nothing. I don't know if I could do it. Nothing happened. That's it. I did watch the cute little show on Netflix, though, Finding Her Edge. I started it because you told me to start it. It's like a little teen book Ice Castles E. I love it. You know, I love the little I like skating. I love the little teen drama skating. Yeah. Yeah. So there's eight episodes. I watched a couple of them. So cute. That's a nice watch for today, as long as like I mean, producer Edith has no interest in that. He goes, Oh, what is this? Like the heterosexual version of that heated rivalry. I go, these people are five. No, they're in high school. Meanwhile, the heated rivalry guys are gonna be given the torch for the Olympics. Is that not the funniest thing ever? Dude, I just bought myself I'm coming to the cottage mug. Of course I did. I can't take it. I love it so much. I'm not over it. I mean, everybody is obsessed with these people. Hudson is on the catwalk for a fashion show. But do you see like I get the memes of cats doing the I want you to come to my cottage? Don't go to Russia, come to my cottage. I get cats doing it to each other. I get all the things. It's so good. Oh my god, I love that show. I don't know that everybody could binge it, but if you're up for it, it's yo, today people are with their families. Oh, if you're with your family, it's not a family show. If you want to sneak away to get some private time and watch it, it's not a family. It's not for the family room, that's for sure. No, but it is worth binging. Finding her edge is for the family. Okay. I watched Free Burt, all of it, which is on Netflix. So it's funny. I'm not a big Burt Kreischer fan. He's a comedian, and he's famous for taking his shirt off. And I'm really not a fan of his at all. Something compelled me to watch it. There, all the episodes are 20 minutes. Somehow, me and Rich watched the whole thing. What I thought it was and what it turned out to be, two different things. I sort of enjoyed it, but I didn't. It was weird. I kept going. I wasn't sure if I liked it. I like the woman that plays his wife and his kids. There's one of these little kids that plays his, I guess she's like nine, ten years old, but they curse and the things they say are friggin' phenomenal. And I really ended up enjoying it. Is it for everybody? No, but again, great binge. Not for everybody, not a family show. Not a family show. Yeah, I don't know if I'm gonna watch that, but I did see it. It's on the top ten. Yeah, it's I mean, I did like it. And then the other thing I watched that I would say definitely you guys tune in. There's a documentary on Netflix called, I think it's just called Small Mall Apartment or Apartment Mall or something like that. It's on Netflix. It's a true story about these bunch of friends that build an apartment in the Providence Place Mall in the late 80s, early 90s, and they live in the apartment for four years. In the mall. Even back then, they videoed a lot of the footage. Yeah, it's kind of cool. It's really, really cool. You couldn't do it now because of the way security is. Back then, security was a lot looser. You could get away with a lot more. There weren't cameras everywhere. This is fascinating, people. Really, really good. Today's a day where I'm gonna finish. I started, but I didn't finish the rip. Oh my god, the rip is so good. I mean, you know, I can't stand him. And then there was those rumors out that he was with um Nader. I can't have it. But she's tea, they both said they're not true. And she said I've never met him before. So thank God. Yeah, yeah, I'll finish that. And then Song Sung Blue. I need to watch that. I haven't watched it yet. So it's now rent or buy, so I may rent it. And she she got the Oscars. Yeah, good for her. There were not that many big surprises from the Oscar nominations, nothing shocking. Wicked got snubbed. Well, you know, I was texting with my friend Chris about that. I think that Wicked had its day last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I I wasn't that shocked about it. Yeah, I get it. They said that girl that was in the Leo movie didn't get nominated. I guess I was a snub. Okay. Not everybody can be nominated. Not everybody can be nominated. Speaking of nominated, episode three of The Pit, I thought was very good. Very good. But I have to say, if Dr. Robbie ends up falling in love or having sex with Dr. Al, you think? Now all of a sudden there's like a hmm. I don't see that. Yeah, yes, at the very end where they have that little banter where she's like, why don't we go our separate ways and then meet that? Yeah. I feel like that's what is it called? Foreshadowing for the future. I don't like that.
unknownI don't like that.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it was an enjoyable episode. See, that's what we said, everybody. This is a long season. It's 15 episodes. You guys need to be patient. Yeah. I'm patient. And I watched why? I don't know. But I watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yeah, but it was good. I do. See, this is a conversation that you and I have had a million times. But Tilly says, When you are dressed to go out on the town the evening, your undergarments should match. I was laughing my ass off at that time. That has real fucking money. She really does. That's all the Sam Simon Simpson money, right? Yes. She has real. Not all from playing poker. Oh my god, she is drowning in money. Yeah. Good for her. Good for hers, right? And she's hilarious. I love her. I think honestly, Kathy Hilton has her and Kathy Hilton together. But did you think that Amanda talking about her dead kid every five seconds? Like, why did she go to dinner if her dead kid's anniversary was that day? And then you're just gonna drop that bomb on everybody. Oh, it's the anniversary of my kid who died. I don't like her. I don't like her at all. I don't know why they let her. But I know what she went through is tragic. Of course. And they did know she had lost a child. Um, so it was sad. So her story is that she gave birth to twins and one died, and then one died, which is awful. Yeah, so I totally get it. I agree, I probably wouldn't be at that dinner, but she's going to the dinner. She's getting paid to be at that dinner. So take that night off. Dorite's getting some bad press over her reaction to it. It's ugly all the way around. But you know what? It reminded me because the the dinner was at Rachel Zoe's house, and Rachel Zoe had a psychic. And it reminded me that remember the last time they had the psychic, the psychic told Kyle that Mauricio was not gonna be the guy for the rest of her life. Yes. And we were all like, that's ridiculous. They're gonna be together forever. Next thing you know, who's divorced? Kyle and Mauricio. Well, they're not officially divorced yet. No, but they're separated. I hope they get back together. I don't. You know? I want her to get back with Morgan and be a lesbian. I like her with her husband. Okay. What else we have? Well, we have Harry Styles' new song, which you and I do not agree on because I cannot stop playing it. The vibe of the song, the vibe is I'm on ecstasy. I'm at the club, the lights are very, very bright and spinny. It's uh, I need to get the fuck out of the club for me. That's the vibe. I'm not a big take ecstasy, go to the club and have the lights annoy the shit out of me. I would have a panic attack. That music is not my vibe. I love it. You could love it. It's just happy. It's like makes you want to dance. It's so good, it's catchy. I don't even find it to be a happy song. No, it makes you happy, like makes you want to dance. The Bruno Mars song is so much better. I don't connect. Oh, this makes me like want to take ecstasy. What are you talking about? Like, it feels like a drug song. It feels like a dance song, which is exciting to me. No, but no, for me. I'm all about Bruno Mars. That's it. What Bruno Mars? This new song is amazing. I don't think I heard it, but I can't just think it's Harry's. Way better. Way freaking better. No. I will send it to you and you will. First of all, you're allowed to have different vibes. Like we love Olivia Dean. That song you sent me was great. It's a different vibe. I like different vibes. That vibe's just not my vibe. What's gonna happen when we go to Harry? Are you gonna leave during that song? I'm gonna have to put earphones in so that I don't have a panic attack and think that I'm on ecstasy. Oh my god, you're bugging out. You are bugging. It's so good. Although I have to say, I'm not going to freaking MetLife. What are you talking about? He's doing a residency at MSG. We're going to that'll that I'll do. I'm not doing this MetLife concert thing. No chance. No, of course not. We're not doing MetLife ever. No. That's how I missed out on freaking Taylor Swift. That should have been the one MetLife we did. It should have been, could have been, would have been. We didn't do it because we were not Swifties then. We're Swifties now. We thought we were taking the high road and giving Swifties their tickets. Meanwhile, little did we know we wish we went. Way behind. All right. Do we have anything else? Let me take a second. I looked at my list. I didn't keep up. Please share our podcast. This is the last week to share our podcast for the contest. Producer Ed is on it. It's a great day to share it, right? People are stuck inside. We've got suggestions for you. Yeah. And also tell people to go back to our top five. Yeah, absolutely. Okay. Well, I was very shocked to learn that on January 20th, high school musical turned 20 years old. Can you believe it? Speaking of Efron, we love him. No, I can't believe it. And of course, my feed has all this high school musical stuff. So today's game is high school musical turns 20. I don't even remember a thing about high school musical, but I do like it. We know because Regina told us about the necklace. Yeah, that's right. That's right. Shout out, Regina. Shout out Regina. Okay, so some of these are too easy, and you'll know them, but uh here's a few. So what is the name of the high school in the movie? Is it A, West High, B, Bayside High, C, East High, or D, Northridge High? Wait, give me my choices again. West, Bayside, East, Northridge. Bayside? No. Bayside is the other one. Right, right, right. It's East High. East High, right. Okay. Okay. Which song do Troy and Gabriella sing together during the first karaoke night? Is it breaking free? What I've been looking for, get your head in the game, or the start of something new. Start of something new. I said it wrong. I know what I've been looking for. Correct. Okay, good. Got one. Good job. Which real life city does East High School represent? Is it A, LA? B, Salt Lake City, Utah, C, Albuquerque, New Mexico, or D, Phoenix, Arizona. New Mexico. Incorrect. Oh. Phoenix, Arizona, but the filming took place in Utah. Which high school musical star was not originally known for singing before the movie? Was it A, Zach Ephron? B Ashley Tisdale. C, Vanessa Hudgens, or D, Corbin Blue? Corbin Blue. No, Zach didn't sing. He didn't sing at all? No, that's not his voice. Oh, that's not his voice. Oh, fuck. Right. Okay. Okay, you only have one more left. I thought you would have done better at this. I what this is 20 years ago. Give you an easy one to end this game. What song became the movie's breakout anthem? Was it stick to the status quo? We're all in this together, breaking free, or get your head in the game. We're all in this together. Correct. Of course. I thought maybe you asked me about the mascot.
unknownNo.
