SPEAKER_00

You told me you weren't gonna watch it! That's right. Because it's a cheater! This week on We Need to Talk, we talk about our Olivia D concert. Are you drinking matcha? And the Secret Lives of Suburban Wine. That's what makes the opener. Good morning. Happy Sunday. Cheers to you. It's a beautiful day. Yesterday was a beautiful day, wasn't it? Oh my god, less humidity. Just gorgeous.

SPEAKER_01

I have to give producer Ed a shout out. I was alone yesterday and my dogs driving me nuts because they wanted to take a walk. And normally I don't walk them by myself because I think that they will kill me. So I used the special leash that producer Ed bought for me. Did it work? Yes, I can walk them by myself with that leash. That's really impressive. Yeah, so thank you to producer Ed. I used to work with the girl that made the leash. I know. So thank you to her as well. I didn't die. I'm here to do the show.

SPEAKER_00

Now that you brought up dogs, like, you know, did I tell you that we're thinking about getting a dog? Yes, but this has been going on for a while now. Correct. So now it's become a little bit more serious. For example, we just had our third gate guy come and look at our backyard. Because according to producer, you get the gate, then you get the dog. You know, I don't know the process of things. But just like when people are gonna have a baby, everybody's got a lot to say. According to some people, our lifestyle isn't conducive for dogs. That is true. In my apartment building, there is a dog walker. She is the dog walker of the apartment building. Okay, so that's great. She's amazing, everybody loves her. When we moved in, we asked her, Do you visit cats? Because we have a needy cat. So she says, Of course. So we ask her host summer, like maybe come in on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, every week different depending on our schedule, to check in on Timmy and give him some food. So Ed sees the dog walker, and he says, Guess what? He says, you know, you may have another friend soon. And the dog walker, the woman who makes a living walking fucking dogs, tells Ed, I don't think you guys should get a dog. Wait a minute.

SPEAKER_01

How does the dog walker know that much about you?

SPEAKER_00

That's my point. What are you judging it on? The fact that you've come in to look at Timmy on a Tuesday and Wednesday. How about just I have a needy 13-year-old cat? What are you talking about? Should I think about this? He's like, You haven't thought about fucking anything. I've been saying it. You don't give a shit. So now what do you give a shit, the dog walker? I don't know. It's one thing when my stepmother tells me to get a dog, it's another thing when the dog walker tells me not to get a dog. I think that you make the dog fit into your life. Yes, and I'm not getting a puppy.

SPEAKER_01

My goal is to be like the dog fit into your life, and what it gets used to is what it gets used to.

SPEAKER_00

My goal here is to get a three-year-old, a four-year-old dog. Of course, will there be certain things that need to change? Of course. I agree with you, just like anything else. But how fucking funny. Instead of being happy that you may have some more business, she's like, Yeah, no. Right.

SPEAKER_01

What I want to know is why? Why does she think that? She's stalking me?

SPEAKER_00

She has no idea what I do.

SPEAKER_01

Has she been in your apartment to take care of Timmy at all?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All the time. So what's in the apartment to make her think that you can't have a dog?

SPEAKER_00

Exactly. What do I have? Empty bottles and concert tickets lying around? This is why I'm obsessed with it. Does she live in the building? No. This is why I am obsessed with the whole situation.

unknown

Huh.

SPEAKER_00

But okay. Anyway, moving on. We need to strange. This is a strange situation. Yeah. Yeah. More to come. Let's get her on the show. We need to talk about our Friday night because we had a really good time. It was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

SPEAKER_01

So me and Kay and my friend Diane and Kay's sister Marissa all went to see Olivia Dean, Madison Square Garden, and it was so good, you guys. I was a little nervous going into the show because she's a small, tiny girl, and it's a very big stage. She sold out four nights. And guess what, you guys? She can do it all, right? She commanded that stage. She can dance. She's unbelievable. She's unbelievable. MSG was rocking for her.

SPEAKER_00

We went to the first show at MSG. She has, like you said, she has four sold out shows. Right. And I think that that means something because she was so humble. Yeah. She was taking it all in. When you finally are on the stage at MSG, to me, that's making it right. Yeah. These artists really understand that. They recognize what MSG is. And you could see it. You could see when everybody had the lights up on their phones. She was looking around. That part was amazing. Also, she rose to fame so fast. So fast. Nine months ago, listeners, she opened for Sabrina Carpenter. That's right. And now she has four sold-out MSG shows. Yeah. She knocks your socks off. Yeah. And guess who got to touch her? Me and you. We both touched her. Those seats were so good. But I have not had that kind of interaction. One time I saw Bon Jovi at the garden and he did that same thing. Where he runs around the arena. Where he runs around the arena and I was right there. It's Olivia Dean John Bond. No, but she was just, it just was so good and so amazing. We're laughing hysterical because I get off the train at Penn Station. And everybody is dressed in polka dots.

SPEAKER_01

Polka dot dresses, Philly dresses, Brittany's dresses. What is happening? Also, for anybody who knows a single guy, guess where the place to be is to meet women? Olivia Dean pre-concert show. Oh my God. Because we went to Bar Premi near the garden.

SPEAKER_00

Which good news, listener, is that it's the same restaurant I had a fight with my brother in. Yeah. And I thought they'd never let me back, but they let me back in. You were incognito. Yeah, it's incognito, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But you walk into Bar Premi, which is a very big restaurant, it was 99% young women, all looking their best, all dressed up. Oh my god. Great. The outfits were amazing. Yes. And where were the single men? They should have been there. It was the perfect place to meet a very nice young woman. Also, get tickets, go to the garden. It's right like 90% women.

SPEAKER_00

But what did we switch where we need to now dress like our performer?

SPEAKER_01

Not just that. I went to Spider-Man. People are dressed to sit in the dark at Spider-Man. We saw people. Dressed like Spider-Man. Yes. I don't understand. People get dressed like Olivia Rodrigo. People get dressed like Olivia Dean. Hilary Duff. Yeah, Hillary Duff. Harry Styles. People are just getting dressed to go be like getting dressed like them, though.

SPEAKER_00

That's my point. So strange.

SPEAKER_01

They're dressing like the performer. And they think that they're gonna see her, or is it because it's to build camaraderie amongst them?

SPEAKER_00

And they're all in heels and lots of polka dots. I love a good polka dot, but I didn't really know that that's what we need to do. I can't be in a stiletto at MSG.

SPEAKER_01

No way. Even the night before, I went to Yacht Rock at the pier and we were at dinner and everyone's wearing their sailor hats. And now, in addition to the hats, I would bet you that at Yacht Rock is the most white jeans ever. And striped sailory shirts. The dry cleaning bills after a yacht rock show must be sky high because there's no way all that red wine and all that sangria and all those froses are not getting spilt on the white pants. I don't get it. It's happening, it's a thing.

SPEAKER_00

Not only is she amazing, but her songs are popping up in all the shows now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We found her first, remember? We looked up the show. Let me just say first.

SPEAKER_00

I was just saying this to producer ad yesterday. Christy takes responsibility for all the things. Like she thinks she discovered it. And I usually make fun of her. But this case, we're right. We were on the cutting edge. Like we said, who is this? It sounds like Adele. It's so good. We did a deep dive into Olivia D before she was who she is today. Before she was on us now, before she was opening up for Sabrina, before all of the things. And now she's on every show. And you know, every show we watched is a song from her.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. And you know what's crazy is okay. So we post, right? I don't know if you had any of this happen to you. I would say I got 10 to 15 responses to my Olivia Dean content saying, Who's that? And I'm like, Olivia Dean. And many responses back to that were, who's she? Okay, people. You gotta know your shit. You can't age and not know things. You know, she is, she's four sold-out shows at MSG everyone. Even when there's these young cat's eye and all the shit that I don't care about, I still pay attention. I know, I know and know what's going on in the world. How somebody our age doesn't know who Olivia Dean is, to me, is flabbergasting. All right, where should we go? Are we gonna are we gonna resurrect the conversation we had at dinner about the best friends, or no?

SPEAKER_00

I feel like you and I have had this conversation. We have, but it was nice to have other people in it. With our listeners, even we've had this conversation. Our listeners are tired of us talking about. But you see what I mean though. My other people talk about it, it makes sense. She laugh.

SPEAKER_01

Right. So I have a friend Diane who I've been friends with her for 30 years. And she's the best, by the way. She's the best. We love Diane. We love Diane. I mean, she's awesome. I love her to pieces. Yes. But every time she tells a story about her friend, it's always my best friend. Yeah. Yeah. And I bust her balls all the time about it because I say to her, everybody can't be your best friend.

SPEAKER_00

And then No, but what did you say? What did you say if there's somebody, the body, what'd you, what was your analogy? What who would you call to bury the body? Who would you call to bury the body? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Now, your sister has one. You have one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Di has 50. Yeah. And I have nobody. It came up because we were talking about that book, the five-star weekend. Yeah, which you and I and our listeners have talked about. And I still think about it like who do you take from different aspects of your life and people that come in and out of your life during different phases of your life? And I have no children. I don't have the the mother friends, but I have like the different adult periods of my life. And you never joined the cat mom society. No, I mean I should, right? I should. Apparently, I'm not welcoming the dog mom society. Not even yet. Not even yet. That's how it came up.

SPEAKER_01

And Diane was saying, like, she had all these people. She just did it yesterday. She's like, you know, my best friend Marcia or whoever it was. And I go, okay, that's a new one. Never heard of her before. How can it be your best friend? I've known you for 30 years. I never heard that name in my life before.

SPEAKER_00

Then we were talking about checking all the boxes, but there's nobody in general that checks all your boxes. I said, Well, my sister checks all the boxes. And she goes, Yeah, really? All the boxes? She was like, No, I don't. You're right. Maybe 95%. It was funny.

SPEAKER_01

I'm telling you, I've known Diane a long time. She has more best friends than I've ever seen in my life. Oh, what I would like to know is, do they know that they're her best friends? Yeah, I think they do. I need them all in a room.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I want to say because we just talked about that show that was a book and all these things that we're watching, even off campus, they were all books first. But I finished Sterling Point, which was not a book. And I am giving it a lot of credit because it's an original show. And you know what? I haven't seen an original show in a long time. They wrote the show. It's not a book, and it was very good.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I told you it was good. It has its issues like they all do, but it was good. There were good twists and turns. The acting was good, the scenery was good.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't think the boys were hot enough, but okay. It leaves you that there could be another season, which is fun. The music was good. Yeah, it checks all the boxes. Yeah, we love the guys aren't hot enough. We love the and half the way look alike. Yes. But I'm only saying it because I give it kudos because it's actually an original show. Because even that stupid fucking my life with the Walter boys is based on a book.

SPEAKER_01

I finished it.

SPEAKER_00

It's painful, everyone. And it's the same ending. It's the same ending.

SPEAKER_01

They've done this ending before I know. I just don't understand what they don't do. So, what about the fact that in two different episodes they do the we got locked in scenario? Okay, you guys, I just gotta say this one thing about freaking Walter Boys. This Jackie Exactly. I don't even know what you're gonna say, but I'm gonna say exactly. We apparently can pull off shit that nobody else can do. No, but I can't do anything she could do with no money.

SPEAKER_00

No money in one day. That space is beautiful, beautiful space. It's it's a freaking speakeasy. Yeah, I know. Give me a break. This is why I appreciate Sterling Point. This show, the Walter Boys, is fucking painful. It's horrible.

SPEAKER_01

And also, the parents have 5,000 children.

SPEAKER_00

5,000.

SPEAKER_01

You forget how many kids they have. One's leaving, one's going to Europe, one's going to Georgia. I'm like, oh my god, with this show.

SPEAKER_00

Why did they feel the need to have eight kids? I don't know. They have eight kids, they have two nephews, they have Jackie. It's insanity. No money. No money. Yeah, it's insanity. Okay, but we're moving on because I can't even talk about it. It's like so stupid. And I'm sure, and I'm sure it's gonna be renewed. Of course it's gonna be renewed. Yeah, because now we need Jackie and Cole to get back together. And what I said last week, I think, is that it is one of the shows that comes back consistently. I'm not waiting three years for the fucking show.

SPEAKER_01

This is one show I could wait for. Yeah, but you know what's really good? Off campus is filming season two and three at the same time. Really happy about that.

SPEAKER_00

So I read that John Hamm is having a baby.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't really understand that.

SPEAKER_00

Look, I love John Hamm. I know you you're on the fence about John Hamm.

SPEAKER_01

No, I like him now because of your friends and neighbors and because of the interview with Amy Polar.

SPEAKER_00

But he's cleaned up his act, he's funny as shit. He went on record as to say years ago, and he was with that guy. He never got married, but he was with her for that act.

SPEAKER_01

So long. Yeah, she's with her forever.

SPEAKER_00

Forever.

SPEAKER_01

Never got married, no kids. Said, I'm never gonna get married, I'm never gonna have kids. He said, I'm just not a guy who wants kids, which is fine.

SPEAKER_00

There's no judgment. But now you find this woman, you get married in 10 seconds, and you're having a baby.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, Masletov, but any other woman, I'm pissed. Maybe he's just taking a page out of the George Clooney playbook. They all do. Never say never.

SPEAKER_00

Speaking of George Clooney, Brad Pitt's back on the fucking juice.

SPEAKER_01

It's so funny to me that he has to make an announcement. Why is he telling us that he's off the wagon? And his kids dropped his name. I this whole thing is so twisted. The kids piece, I feel, is uh Angelina Jolie Lunacy. Yeah, she's like, I'm sure she's brainwashed the hell out of them. She was always whacked. You know what I mean? I know. I can't imagine that Matt Damon and George Clooney and all these people who live for Brad Pitt would live for him if he was a piece of garbage.

SPEAKER_00

No, even Jennifer, who he broke her heart, he she still stands up for him. I never like to hear when people have been not drinking for nine years and now they start drinking. I always think, well, that can't be good because you were not drinking for nine years.

SPEAKER_01

Right. I just think it had something to do with the kids' situation and the custody and all this other stuff. And then he basically said, Well, I did all this so that I could get my kids back. Since I can't get them back and they're changing their names, I might as well have a drink because what else is there?

SPEAKER_00

I know. Fucking guy. What else is there? Sorry. I'm with you, Brad. I'm with you. What are you doing, Brad? Dude, did you see that? I know I'm changing topics, but I can't. I'm thinking about having a drink. Did you see the below deck where they're eating in the sky? Yes.

SPEAKER_01

No way am I doing it. Rich was watching that with me and he has fear of heights, and he would never do that. I would totally do it.

SPEAKER_00

I would never do it.

SPEAKER_01

My question is how does the food get up and down?

SPEAKER_00

I like a roller coaster and scary as shit and as high as it is. But to eat and be suspended like that, to have a relaxing me on a cocktail in the fucking sky, no thank you.

SPEAKER_01

You're on a crane.

SPEAKER_00

I don't care. I don't like it. Like I didn't like a hot air balloon. I don't like any of that shit.

SPEAKER_01

I've never done a hot air balloon because Rich won't do it with me.

SPEAKER_00

No, I don't like it. It's not good.

SPEAKER_01

They have a hot air balloon festival in Arkansas, and I'm gonna go one year.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's great. But I no way. Dinner and cocktails are sacred to me. And I can't be scared or nervous. Full harnesses on. That's not enjoyable. I would totally do it. I couldn't even focus on the rest of the episode because I kept thinking about I kept thinking about it.

SPEAKER_01

I just didn't understand the concept of where's the food. There was a guy making it in the center. Look, ingredients. If you need more water, where does it go?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, Christy, but I'm not doing it anyway. I want to know more. Oh my God. There's so many things to talk about. The other thing that I've been obsessed about this week, and I don't even think it's new to this week. I think it's been old, and maybe I'm late to the game, is the dog and duck friends.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That's been on TikTok forever.

SPEAKER_00

I know because they started as a little chick and now he's a duck. Yeah. The best friends. But you see, like the duck, he hides behind the bushes and stares at him. It's hilarious. They're so cute.

SPEAKER_01

You know, because I get those videos, you know, I feel really bad about Punch the Monkey, also because we were so obsessed with Punch the Monkey. Keychain, I'm still obsessed. Well, now Punch, he's like the monkey ambassador of his area, and he welcomes all the new monkeys.

SPEAKER_00

Because he's the best. He's the female. He built his own monkey family. I want to go back and say kudos to that family that let the kids keep the duck. Yes. Because I would have been like, get rid of this duck. We're not keeping this duck. And now this duck and this dog are the best of friends. They were on the Today Show, one of those stupid shows. I don't even know. You know who had a pet duck?

SPEAKER_01

Who? Rich Karuba. For a while? Dumb Duck was its name. Oh, that's a terrible name. They kept it in the tub. For how long? I don't know. They used to have a house in Greenwood Lake, and Dumb Duck was their pet for a little while. Gotta get more information about that. Yeah, let's get more information about that. Some of those things I kind of paid attention, then I didn't pay attention.

SPEAKER_00

They're so cute. So cute, yeah. And didn't the dog have anxiety issues or something?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it's an emotional pet for the dog.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, between punch and the dog and the duck, I can't take it. So cute. So I've been obsessed with that this week.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Late to the game, but I love it. For me, the only thing I had that wasn't TV oriented that I keep meaning to bring up week after week, it's always in my notebook is I feel like lately this matcha thing. I don't get matcha. There's so much pressure. Now when I go to a place and matcha's on the menu, the waitresses and the waiters are pushing the matcha on me. I don't even know what it is. What is it? What is it? It's ground-up green tea, and it's supposed to be really good for you as far as antioxidants and for your body and all this other stuff. It's supposed to be amazing for your health. Why can't I just have green tea? Which I am a huge green tea. I love green teas. And I've tried the matcha thing. Matcha straight tastes like you're eating the dirt in your backyard. It's disgusting. But now they have matcha lattes and strawberry matcha this and caramel matcha that. And it's so annoying to me. And all these people who are on the matcha bandwagon are making it like it's the newest you got a matcha, matcha, matcha, and it's driving me insane. There's an influencer, Alyssa Amaroso, who I love. She now has these matcha to goes that you clip to your pocketbook, and it's super cute. And I love her packaging and I love everything about her. I just wish I liked matcha. I just can't do it. I don't even know what it is. It looks really pretty when you drink it. That's all I could say. But when you drink it, it's an acquired taste. I just can't acquire it. I've tried.

SPEAKER_00

I I felt like I got shamed a lot when I would order like an iced coffee or a coffee and I didn't want oat milk or almond milk. Like if I said, Do you have skim milk? They looked at me like I was crazy. Really? Who the fuck drinks skim milk or or whole milk? It's gotta be it's gotta be cream or it's gotta be oat or it's gotta be almond. I was like, I don't want any of those fucking things. Like I don't understand.

SPEAKER_01

This matcha latte thing is a huge deal, and all these matcha things are popping up everywhere. Matcha, matcha, matcha. Maybe we should try matcha when we're together. In LBI, there's so many. I'm sure there's so many matcha places. There is. I've never had it, so I'll try it. But you have to try regular matcha and then you have to try a matcha latte. Matcha with oat milk.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not drinking oat milk. Ugh.

SPEAKER_01

I can't even have any milk. No milk for me. I know you don't drink milk. Don't drink any milk.

SPEAKER_00

So laugh out loud, funny. Only getting better, in my opinion, is fucking Shane Gillis and tires and season. Three season three came out Wednesday, Thursday. I don't even know. I'm on episode six right now. I think I finished episode three. There's heart so damn good. It is so politically incorrect, and I fucking love it.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. I don't know the actor that plays Will. He's the best. I know how they don't die laughing in that show. I'm laughing out like a lunatic. Out laughing, like a lunatic. Yeah. It's so inappropriate.

SPEAKER_00

It's so good. It is really fucking funny as shit. On Netflix, this is season three. All the seasons are great, but I feel like it's better than it was. Season two, we said was better than season one. Now season three, I'm not finished. I'm hysterical.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody in it is completely dysfunctional.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody in it is completely inappropriate. It's about a bunch of people that work at a tire place.

SPEAKER_00

If you need to laugh, I suggest tires on Netflix. If you need to cry, I suggest don't say good luck on Netflix. Okay, you guys, don't say good luck. Now, congratulations to Sonny Sandler. To Sonny Sandler and her dad and Happy Productions or whatever it's called, because I really thought it was a well-done movie. It was really good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Sonny Sandler can act and Sonny Sandler can sing. Correct. And Melody Litzky is in this. She was great. The only problem is it wrecked me. I know, I know. I was a friggin' mess at the end. It wrecked me too. I mean, I guess I figured out right from the beginning what was going to happen, but I didn't think that they were going to do it the way that they did it. It was so good.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's why when you said, I can't believe you didn't tell me, I felt like it wrecked me also, but I don't regret watching it. I don't regret watching it. That's what I meant. I didn't want to turn you off from watching it because we were going to cry, because I thought it was really good. And I thought it was well done, and I'm happy for them on Netflix. It's about an hour and a half.

SPEAKER_01

And it's just about coming of age. Yep. Sonny Sandler wants to get the lead in the play. Mom's sick. Max Greenspan's her dad. They have Deli. They got these two younger brothers, B.B. Newark's in it. Stevie Jemmy's. She designed all the people. Yeah. Really good cast. Yeah. Really sweet. Good for Sonny Sandler because now she's gonna be major. Yeah. Watch her blow up because she will.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she's been in a couple of things that this is definitely she's the lead. All right. There's my tip of the day. One to laugh, one to cry, and one to fucking scratch your head. And I know I told you that I would never watch this show because I don't do TLC. Nothing against TLC. I'm so mad right now. I just don't do TLC. It's not my thing. I don't watch TLC shows.

SPEAKER_01

You guys, I told Kay about this show called Secret Live Lives of Suburban Wives. Right. And the premise is that there are these regular housewives who also do OnlyFans. They do adult content, right? Okay. And I said, Are you gonna watch it? And you said, No, I'm not gonna watch it at DTLC. No. Right. I did say that. And in the pre-show, she says, Oh my god, with the secret wives of suburban wives. I'm like, you watched it?

SPEAKER_00

Well, because what happened was I went to watch Hard Knocks, which I still have not watched. I haven't watched it yet. Correct. So I go to put on HBO and I say, or Max, whatever we're calling it, and I say, and I see Secret Lives of Suburban Wives. I go, I thought that was a TLC show. So I click it. There's only been one episode. And let me tell you something. I'm fascinated by these people because it's exactly what you just said. They live in St. Louis, Missouri. It's a small fucking town. And they're all very Christian, church-going people. And they're all doing this adult-only content. And some of their families know, and some of their families don't. I mean, again, there's only been one know now. Yeah, there's only been one episode. And they come together as a group of friends who now have this show, but then they also do they promote each other on their own regular Instagram. And then you could go on their Instagram and you could click to the adult content only. And the guys, this is another fascinating piece. Two of the girls, the way they got started separately, you know, having no involvement with each other, is that the husbands posted them online and they then got all this feedback, a picture of one's ass or a picture of the other one in this negligent. And then they got all this feedback, and then they went doing their own pages. And one of these girls, she said, you can make hundreds in a month, you can make thousands in a month, or you can make 10,000s in a month. They cleared a million dollars last year.

SPEAKER_01

I have a question, not that it's ever come up with any of my friends. Well, maybe I do know. Let me tell you something. You don't know what's happening behind closed doors. I definitely don't, but we all talk about what we watch or send each other videos of things we saw online. But obviously, there is a lot of people out there that are looking at adult content that we don't know. Or if we know them, we don't know that they're doing that.

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's the same concept of that other show that we were watching. Yeah. With the Margo. Yeah, the Margot thing. Margot needs money. All these people needed a way for money. They all one lost their job at COVID. The other one had a miscarriage, and then she quit her job. So they're all looking for ways to support their family. This is what they came up with. They're gonna show their nipple, and now one of them is putting on underwear, and then the people online are buying the fucking underwear, and the husband is packing the underwear and putting it in the envelopes.

SPEAKER_01

I'm fascinated. It's a whole other world I know nothing about, but I know it exists. It's been one episode. I mean, this is a lot, and one episode is an hour.

SPEAKER_00

So the one girl, father, is a pastor, and the family does not know that this is what she now and the other girl, she became public because she was a fucking school teacher, and then somebody found her and they put it out, and it was all over the news.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

She just got fired.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

Doesn't matter. She got fired. Because she's making a ton of money. Yeah. What did we learn? We learned that if all else fails and you show your nip money, show a nip.

SPEAKER_00

You show a nip, you do whatever. These people got like these private rooms. One girl doesn't even have a private room. She's got all these fucking plants, just takes her camera out. It's so weird. 10,000 plants.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta watch it. I'll be watching it tonight. I was the one who said we need to watch it. Dude, I'm cold busted.

SPEAKER_00

I got no money. I don't even understand. Now we know what you need to do. I don't, yes, next to this fake fucking plant that producer at Putnam. They may have nice bodies. I'm not even saying this to be negative in men, I guess people, men and women. They don't really care so much if you're good looking or not, I guess, in this context. In this context, they're looking for the different things. Yeah, yes. Because these women are not hot, they have nice bodies or whatever. You gotta watch it. You gotta watch. I don't know what to say.

SPEAKER_01

No, as I said, we should watch it. You said you're not watching it. Now you're the fan or the only fan.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what to say. If I was crazy, I would want to go online and look to see their stuff, but I'm not going to.

SPEAKER_01

If Denise Richards can't get me to go on OnlyFans, I know nobody can. It's true.

SPEAKER_00

Good point.

SPEAKER_01

Excellent point. Because I've been tempted to see what's going on there with her and the daughter. There's a lot going on.

SPEAKER_00

There's a lot going on there. Or Nader, Nader and her boobs out with her dad. If that can't get me to go on, I'm not doing it. What else you got?

SPEAKER_01

I will recommend Louder Than Fear, the Travis Barker documentary on Hulu. Oh, very nice. It was excellent. I knew obviously the story, but there was a lot I didn't know. I didn't realize how severe his injuries were and how long he was in a burn center. And I didn't realize how many very important people in his life he lost, but he lost his mom at a really young age and just was never the same ever since. And also this whole no-flying thing. He would take the the Queen Mary, the Queen Mary. Queen Mary, yeah. Yeah, the Queen Mary to Europe took nine days. He had to do it every time he toured Europe and he had a drum kit on there, and he would bring his kids on there, and he would live on there. Every time he would go there and back was nine days. Interesting guy. I definitely recommend it. It's not long, it's maybe an hour and a half. It was filmed over nine years. And his documentarian said, You don't have an ending. It was filmed over nine years? Yeah, because they were doing all this for a while, but there was no ending. They said, We don't have an ending. And they kept saying to him, get on a plane, get on a plane. He kept saying, I'm not getting on a plane. And being with Courtney, he did end up going on a plane. So they continued filming for nine years. And now he has his ending. And he goes on a plane. Oh, interesting. But even though I told you what it's about, it's still worth watching. Yeah, I get it. The second episode of Ted Lasso, I thought was way better than the first. Okay. So that's all I have to say about that. I think it's everything we thought it was gonna be. It's pretty much they're taking what they've done in the past and sort of I don't know, reinvigorating it for this. That's fine.

SPEAKER_00

But it's the same sort of story. Yeah. And it's good to see all the familiar faces. Yeah. Not looking for all the Easter eggs. I don't care. I'm just enjoying the episodes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there's a ton of them for this episode as well, but I'm I know, I'm not doing it. Episode two of the lioness was insane. You had a sick body. Granted, she was being tortured. But damn I can't say it enough.

SPEAKER_00

Zoe Saldana is fucking intense.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I was a wreck watching episode two.

SPEAKER_00

I think I texted you. I said, I can't watch this. My heart is racing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was so intense and so insane, but still so good.

SPEAKER_00

I was covering my eyes at one point, not for it being scary just because I can't take it. It was nuts.

SPEAKER_01

Burlap sack over your head. No, it's all pulled into a van and then ripped all your clothes off and then trying to find your tracker. And she's like, I don't have a tracker, but she did have a tracker.

SPEAKER_00

She did have a tracker, which I really was shocked in the end. I was so shocked. One thing that people are saying about this season is that they don't like the flipping of time. I don't mind it.

SPEAKER_01

I don't mind it all. I always have an issue with time flipping, but we needed this. I think it's being done very well. And then a new season of Ultimate Girls Trip on Bravo launched. I go to watch it. I'm texting you, dying laughing, and then I realize I'm watching the wrong season.

SPEAKER_00

I knew. I knew the whole time you were watching the wrong season because only one episode dropped, and you're telling me things from last year.

SPEAKER_01

It was from 2023. Yeah. Apparently, I never watched that season.

SPEAKER_00

That's really funny.

SPEAKER_01

Or if I did, I forgot that I did. Yeah. Because I was dying laughing so much. They are the OGs. I started the new season for real, which is good, but it's not as good as that other one. I know, I know.

SPEAKER_00

Because it's the 20th anniversary of Orange Count, so Real Housewives, they're having all the people come in and out of these episodes because they saw the coming attractions and stuff, needy leaks, all these people are coming in, which is fun. But is it good? I mean, I don't know if it's good.

SPEAKER_01

It's not like the one where they go back to St. Bart's. Yeah. No, that one was so good. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you got something else to say? What else do you got? Surviving Barstool's back. I've only watched two episodes. It's a great show.

SPEAKER_01

Even if you don't know the Barstool people, I was pissed that Dave's not in it and Big Cat's not in it. But Fight's in it. Well, Marty's in it. Marty's in it. All good. Whether you're a Survivor fan or not.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not a Survivor fan, but I am a Barstool fan.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, whatever.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so my game, because we went to see Olivia, this is Olivia Trivia.

SPEAKER_00

Like Olivia Newton John. Well, the yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. We just ruined it, but okay.

SPEAKER_00

No, I mean it's not just Olivia D. Correct. Oh god. Only Olivia Trivia. Okay. And I also like saying Olivia Trivia. I know, it's very good. Olivia Trivia. Oh, speaking of Olivia for a minute before you go to the game. Do I have to pay to watch the invite?

SPEAKER_01

Right now you do, but if you just be patient, you will not have to bet. Right now it's $19.99, but I was reading that by September it'll be free. That's Olivia Wilde, everybody. Okay. I'm gonna wait. I heard so many good things about it. KFC said there's a trigger warning. Did you see his concept?

SPEAKER_00

KFC said if you think it's a rom-com, think it's not. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't think it was a rom-com, though. I didn't think it was a rom-com. I thought maybe it was scary, but it's not scary.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, producer Ed totally disagrees with you and with that scary show. Widow's Bay. He said there was an ending and they leave it open for another season, and he loves the show. He said it's one of the best shows that he's seen in a long time.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like sometimes, more than not, me and producer Ed don't agree on music. We don't agree on TV.

SPEAKER_00

Well, but you agree that it was a good show.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, we do. Both agree that it was a good show.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so. Okay. Alright, what do you got? Good. Olivia. Olivia Trivia. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Which Olivia became a global pop sensation with the song Driver's License? Was it A, Olivia Newton John? B Olivia Rodrigo, C, Olivia Wilde, or D, Olivia Cook? Rodrigo.

SPEAKER_00

Very good. I like that song. I know you do. I like Olivia Rodrigo.

SPEAKER_01

I know you got a lot of shit for not doing well at the game, so I'm trying to. I get so these people don't give me a break. Regina. I figure Olivia Trivia, you could do pretty well.

SPEAKER_00

No, I don't know. You know me. I don't do anything well. Go ahead.

unknown

You do a lot of love.

SPEAKER_01

Not really. Which Olivia played Jane in the Princess Diaries 2? Royal engagement. Was it A, Olivia Munn? B Olivia Diabo. C, Olivia Holt, or D, Olivia Wilde? Dabo. Dabbo. Correct.

SPEAKER_00

Didn't I see something that also a good Olivia? What's her name is not going to be in the new Princess Diaries?

SPEAKER_01

Julie Andrew. Julie Andrew in it. Because why? I don't think she can speak anymore. Remember, she's got vocal cord problems.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I love her so much. Okay, sorry.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, question number three. Olivia Coleman won an Oscar for best actress for playing which real life queen? Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Victoria, Queen Anne, or Queen Mary? Queen Elizabeth. Incorrect. Queen Anne. Oh, Queen Anne. Because remember. Yes, yes, I do remember. She was the Queen in the show, but she was also Queen Anne in the movie. Okay. Alright, question four. Which Olivia won the 1974 Grammy for the record I Honestly Love You? A. Olivia Rodrigo. B. Olivia Coleman. C, Olivia Newton-John, or D, Olivia Wilde?

SPEAKER_00

The one and only Olivia Newton-John.

SPEAKER_01

See, I'm so proud of you. I love her so much.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Last question. Olivia Wilde was born with which first name? Olivia Jane? Olivia Cockburn? Olivia Marie, or Olivia Rose? Olivia Jane. Olivia Cockburn.

SPEAKER_00

Isn't she Olivia? Isn't Cockburn her second her middle name? Is it you should look that up? I think it could be both. Oh, really? I thought you were trying to trick me with Cockburn. No, that's what it says. This is what I think, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I can Google it in real time.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, but I thought Cockburn was like a I thought it was Olivia Jane and last name Cockburn. And then she changed it to Olivia Wilde. But I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. All right, let me check. Thought you were trying to trick me.

SPEAKER_01

I wasn't.

SPEAKER_00

How come no Olivia Mum? You are actually correct.

SPEAKER_01

Olivia Jane Cockburn.

SPEAKER_00

That's what I thought. That's why I thought you were trying to trick me.

SPEAKER_01

That's my bad. If people, you can't rely on AI because they're wrong all the time. So I have a secondary question. Oh shit.

SPEAKER_00

Make up for it. What? Why make up for it? I got it right. Can't I just go out saying I got four out of five? Like to end right there. Thank you, Regina. I did very well in this game. We'll leave it at that. Thank you so much. You're trying to make me slip up.

unknown

I know.

SPEAKER_00

All right, everybody. Stay pickled. Have a great week. Enjoy the weather. Love you. Love ya.
